Privacy Policy

Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. Authentication is handled by Supabase, our identity provider.

Usage and content data. We collect the questions you ask Illari, your watchlists, saved preferences, alerts, and your interactions with analyses and recommendations. This data powers core features, including personalization of the analysis you receive.

Brokerage data (optional). If you choose to connect a brokerage account through our integration partner SnapTrade, we receive read-only information about your holdings, positions, balances, and trade history. We never receive your brokerage login credentials — the connection is established and secured by SnapTrade. We cannot place trades, move funds, or modify your brokerage account.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number. We retain records of your subscription status and transaction history.

Technical data. We collect standard technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, and log data used for security, rate limiting, and service reliability.

How we use your information

• To provide, personalize, and improve the Service, including AI-generated analysis tailored to your questions, watchlists, and (if connected) portfolio
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and enforce usage limits
• To communicate with you about your account, service updates, and — only with your consent — product news
• To analyze aggregate usage patterns so we can improve features

AI processing

Illari uses large language models provided by OpenAI to generate analysis. Your questions and relevant market/portfolio context are sent to OpenAI for processing. We do not use your personal data to train our own public models, and our AI providers process this data under agreements that restrict its use to providing the service.

What we do NOT do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share your portfolio or brokerage data with third parties for marketing.
• We do not provide your data to advertisers.

Service providers

We share data only with the providers necessary to operate the Service: Supabase (authentication and database infrastructure), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (AI processing), SnapTrade (brokerage connectivity, if you opt in), and market data providers who supply the financial data displayed in the Service. Each provider processes data under its own contractual and security obligations.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing hello@illari.app. We will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (for example, payment records).

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, authenticated API access, and least-privilege internal controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@illari.app.

Children

Illari is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
